I remember there was a study that showed chicken soup really did help with colds. I'm not sure if it was the steam that clears your sinuses, or the nutrition, but I wonder if anyone has done a study on the immunological effects of poultry on the human body.
I've also seen studies on this from time to time - they also say that the garlic is good at combatting germs. And there are lots of good vitamins in the veggies. Of course the dumplings are just there for comfort!
I love C&Ds and have tried every recipe known to womankind - and mankind. I've printed out this recipe and will head "to market to market!" for the ingredients.
