Wow!
I've heard you talk about this, but I thought "Meh, coffeee cake. Big deal."

Now I get it! What a beautiful piece of baking.

Love the shot of the unbaked cake...will definitely try this! Sounds delish.
Taina

Taina, I made it again this weekend and because I didn't have quite as much fruit I sprinkled some toasted almond slivers over it - and if anything I liked it even better! Hope you like it!

Um this looks so good. I want to try it with peaches!

What a sweet recipe. I am making this for an upcoming reunion.

I made this with some small red plums picked from a local tree and my family loved it. A great combination of tart with sweet, similar to a rhubarb coffeecake. Easy too, I'll make it again.

my Mother used to make an italian plum sweet dough coffee cake when i was a child. What i remember most was the juice of the plums mixed with the sweet dough and the crunch of the butter topping . Mother was German and died when i was young along with the recipe Going to try this to see if it is what i remember as a child
