And you know, I thought it might be a dorado, a sport fish of the Pacific, but that's mahi-mahi, it turns out and has nothing to do with the bream, which really was a lovely piece of fish.

Not Dorado, but Dorade, as Gilthead Bream is called on the European continent.

Dorada is s very popular fish here in Spain we have it on a regular basis, poached in wine, which slices of lemon inside. delicious.
