I think my actual suggestion was an Iron Chef-inspired "tofu shish kabob, satay style". Be careful with your neologisms, though; a shishkasatay is awfully close to a shiksasatay, which as neologisms go just isn't very kosher at all. (And no fair ruding me over my pre-party anthimeria. When you're being poked in the face, you use the words that come to you.)

Also, for what it's worth, the peanut sauce was quite good, but it paled in comparison w/ the carrot-ancho reduction, which you'll probably be posting next. Man, that stuff was good. I'm salivating now just thinking about it.

Yeah. I was whelmed by the peanut sauce. But, the carrot-pepper sauce was overwhelming and divine. Bottles for selling!

This is a great vegetarian recipe! I'll be trying it out, once it cools down enough to justify turning on the over :-)
