My soup has too much of an acid taste. I do not want to add any cream or dairy so what can I do. I added some sugar but it did not help.i

Linda, you could try sprinkling the tomatoes with sugar before you roast them. This would slightly caramelize them and intensify the sweetness. That said, this soup is much better in the autumn, when nearly-overripe tomatoes are in season.
Good luck!
