Comments: Food Section Digestion - August 26, 2004


I remember a couple sagre I attended last summer in bell'Italia - some were nothing more than a cardtable of individually wrapped home made treats (almost like left overs from mamma's table - oh, sweet ambrosia!) while others were town-wide feasts that took over every available piazza and scenic overlook.

Wine, desserts, meats, individual pastas, produce - you name it, there's a sagra for it. (A policy we should certainly investigate here in the states...)
