I'm not much of a fruit smoothie fan either. Too thick for my taste. While in Mexico recently, though, the hotel where we stayed blended tropical fruits with milk and a little sugar. That was refreshing.

I'm afraid it still sounds too much like a fruit milkshake for me. However it occurs to me that if we threw it in the ice cream maker it could result in an interesting sorbet - we might try that in a couple of weeks when my stepdaughter visits!
(And the adult in me, with memories of access to alcohol, says that said sorbet would be lovely if mixed with tequila for a fruit margherita...sigh...)

Yes, my wife took one sip of the fruit and milk combo and refused to drink anymore. You're not alone in your dislike of dairy and fruit combined.
